MAY 2022: The building work is completed and we invite you to come and see the NEW ROSENHOF.

JUNE to DECEMBER 2021 -- 7 months of conversion and renovation work:

We will keep you up to date with the latest information and photos on the conversion and renovation.

• The site is a hive of activity with many busy hands and a crane to assist the workers.
• The new apartment called "Melisse" (melissa) is under construction.
• The excavation of the shaft for the lift is almost finished.
• Space for new facilities is being created in the old cellar rooms.

This is the view from the new "Melisse" apartment. The morning sun will ease you awake gently to lovely views of the Bergkastel skiing and hiking mountain.

Breathing new life into old walls:

We will uncover, clean, dry and renovate walls that survived the great fire of 1880. We are aiming to achieve this goal by summer. Here you can see one of our old cellars that had to be cleared out and dredged. The revitalisation of these former stables for cows, cattle, sheep, pigs and hens will keep us busy for quite some time.
